Control system protects the power supply against short-circuits and overloads and control main parameters of the device. Communication modules enable to connect the power supply to the surface treatment line controllers. Galkor PGP (PGPP)- air cooled and PGW (PGWP) – water cooled power supplies are designed and manufactured in the latest scientific know-how in the field of electric power conversion: high-frequency technology.
In comparison to traditional thyristor power supplies Galkor PGP rectifiers are characterised by a very high efficiency (even up to 90%), which can provide major energy savings, whereby the 70-80% efficiency is obtained at 20% of load rating.
